Exploring the relationship between seeing, perception, memory, feelings, and thoughts through pictures has been my enduring fascination. Mastering manual photographic techniques using a variety of cameras from 35mm to 4x5, and experimenting with shooting out-of-date film and cross-processing film, naturally evolved into digitally creating painterly photomontages--endless imaginary worlds drawn from the tapestry of everyday reality.
